Volume 2: Beginnings of the Myriad Manifestation Umbrella[]
Wang Ze is drunk and enters Happy Internet Cafe with Liu Hao, Chen Yehui, and Fang Fengran, who are also drunk. Wang Ze's style of play is criticized by Ye Xiu. Wang Ze focuses on beautiful play, which is impractical and overly complicated. He lowers his head and silently accepts Ye Xiu's advice.[1]
Volume 5: Deception[]
With He Ming and Liu Hao, Wang Ze chases after Ye Xiu’s Lord Grim.[2] Wang Ze’s Sharpshooter is killed by Ye Xiu’s Lord Grim and Chen Guo’s Chasing Haze. Wang Ze, who is sitting near Liu Hao, is surprised by Liu Hao slamming the table. Wang Ze sees Su Mucheng outside in the hall. Wang Ze wonders if Chasing Haze’s owner is an average player or an extremely skilled player. Wang Ze is shocked by Liu Hao’s aggressive killing of an enemy player. Wang Ze suggests that Chasing Haze is not extremely skilled because Chasing Haze and Ye XIu’s Lord Grim initially ran away. Wang Ze gets orders from Liu Hao to watch Chasing Haze and Mucheng’s movements in supporting Ye Xiu’s Lord Grim.
Wang Ze walks into a room and is called over to watch a duel by Liu Hao. After getting the spies’ recordings of duels, Wang Ze analyzes two Launcher matches. Wang Ze watches the two matches against the Assassin. He sees the Assassin use brute force to overwhelm their two players. Wang Ze watches and analyzes matches against the Striker and the Witch. Wang Ze is shocked when Yehui reveals that Ye Xiu has used a Launcher, a Battle Mage, a Brawler, a Blade Master, and a Ghostblade in the dungeon record clears.[3]
