Li Xuan debuted in the first iteration of the Challengers League in Season 2 and was scouted by Void to become a member of their team. This led to him being propelled into the Glory Professional Alliance, and he made his debut for the team in Season 4. Due to this, he and Fang Rui are used as examples of successful players who emerged from the Challengers League.[1]

Volume 2: Beginnings of the Myriad Manifestation Umbrella[]
Li Xuan is first mentioned by his account name Crying Devil, as whom Qiao Yifan should study to understand Ghostblade, specifically Phantom Demon Ghost Blades.[2]
Volume 3: Golden Strategy[]
Li Xuan appears during the All-Star Weekend as a representative of Team Void. During the Rookie competition, he is challenged by Qiao Yifan. As he is perturbed by some of the earlier fights, Li Xuan creates a Sword Demon character, rather than his specialty, Phantom Demon, which Yifan makes for the competition. With a long combo, Li Xuan cuts Yifan’s health in half. Li Xuan realizes that Yifan lacks the skill to defeat him, so Li Xuan tones down his aggressive play. Li Xuan plays passively to see what skill Yifan possesses. Li Xuan recognizes Yifan’s ability, which appeared orderly and methodical but not extremely skilled. Li Xuan defeats Yifan. After shaking hands, Li Xuan praises Yifan.[3]
Volume 4: All-Star Weekend[]
On Day 3 of All-Star Weekend, Li Xuan walks onto the stage. He joins Team B with Wang Jiexi, Deng Fusheng, Li Yihui, Han Wenqing, Zhang Xinjie, Wu Yuce, Lin Jingyan, Fang Rui, Xiao Shiqin, Tian Sen, and Zhao Yang. For Team B’s Team Challenge, Li Xuan joins Jiexi, Fusheng, Xinjie, and Wu Yuce with Wenqing as the substitute. Li Xuan and Wu Yuce support their team with an Ice and Flame Boundaries. Li Xuan’s Crying Devil is knocked up by Huang Shaotian. Li Xuan can do nothing as his opponents chain together attacks to suppress him. Without timely reinforcements, Li Xuan’s Crying Devil dies. With his teammates losing the Team Challenge, Li Xuan and Team B lose the overall match.[4]
Volume 7: New Champions[]
In the team competition against Excellent Era, Li Xuan adjusts his team’s style of play to compete against Excellent Era’s team. With Wu Yuce, Li Xuan gains complete control of the match. With Wu Yuce and Li Xuan leading the way, Void crushes Excellent Era, 8-2.[5] In the first round of the Season 8 Playoffs, Li Xuan leads his team to a draw against Tiny Herb.[6] On the second leg of the first round of playoffs, Li Xuan leads his team to defeat against Tiny Herb but fails to reach the semifinals.[7]
